A video of a toddler pointing and laughing at empty space has left people freaked out after it was shared on the "ghosts" forum on Reddit.
In the clip, recorded by the sister of the three-year-old boy, the tot is playing with his toys when he suddenly becomes distracted.
His sister says: "Give high five again!"
But the child stares at an empty space and starts giggling and pointing.
The strange video caused a lot of head-scratching from believers and cynics alike.
Although some people suggested that kids have a "sixth sense" and can see ghosts that adults can't, many others suggested that kids just find strange things funny.
One viewer quipped: "It’s just his imaginary friend, who’s name is Jonathan Mayhue, that died in 1834 of fever and had two children and a wife named Elizabeth…. wait a minute.."
Someone else said: "Well he's precious. And he does seem to be kind of pointing towards something."
A parent with a similar experience wrote: "Walked into the bedroom the other day and caught my one-year-old waving to something in the corner of the room, creepy as hell when they do it."
"Oh yeah, my son is almost three but I still remember him pointing or giggling at corners," commented another viewer.
"I love how sweet and haunting this is simultaneously," said someone else.
This comes after a terrified dog owner claimed to have caught the "ghost of a child" talking to her pooch when she watched the pet cam footage back.
And a homeowner filmed a giraffe toy falling to the floor after asking "spirits" to knock it over.
