Vodafone down issues are surging in right now, with major network problems being reported in the UK.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has seen a huge spike in Vodafone down reports today.
According to the Down Detector outage map the Vodafone down issues are mainly affecting customers in the UK, especially in the south of England.
While elsewhere Vodafone customers have taken to social network site Twitter to report issues they’ve had with the service.
Vodafone users have tweeted about major network issues they’ve encountered today, including problems making calls to landline numbers.
One Vodafone user tweeted: “@VodafoneUK unable to make any calls to landline numbers from my Vodafone mobile. I see others are also having the same problem. Can you confirmed if this is an actual outage and when it will be fixed.”
While another posted: “@VodafoneUK cannot make calls on landline or mobiles at the moment or receive them except from other Vodafone mobiles. Awaiting urgent call from doctor please can you update if there is an issue with the service and when we can expect a fix? Other people have the same issue.”
And one added: “@VodafoneUK Yet another major outage. Cannot call any landline number from any Vodafone mobile. Not good enough.”

The official Vodafone UK Twitter account has been busy today responding to customers that have been affected by the reported network problems.
And replying to one user they confirmed that there was a network issue which they are investigating.
The Vodafone UK Twitter posted: “We’re aware of a current network issue and we’re working hard to get this fixed. Once the issue has been resolved your network will go back to normal”.
At the time of writing Down Detector UK has registered a peak of more than 2,000 reports of Vodafone being down.
Among the areas that reportedly have been hit the hardest by the problem are London, Liverpool and Glasgow.
The latest Vodafone network issues come hot on the heels of another major outage that took place earlier this month.
The outage in question hit on Tuesday June 9 with Down Detector at the time registering more than 10,000 reports of Vodafone being down.
The network problems lasted for around 50 minutes before Vodafone rolled out a fix.
Speaking at the time, a Vodafone spokesperson told Express.co.uk, “We’d like to apologise to any customers who struggled to make phone calls this evening. We had an incident at around 17.20, which was fixed at 18.10.
“The service is now fully back to normal. Any customer struggling to make a call, should quickly turn their phone off and on again to restart. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
